Surah Az-Zumar
And the evil consequences of what they earned struck them. And those who have wronged of these [people] will be afflicted by the evil consequences of what they earned; and they will not cause failure.﴿51﴾
Translation
And the evil consequences of what they earned struck them. And those who have wronged of these [people] will be afflicted by the evil consequences of what they earned; and they will not cause failure.
Simplified Tafsir
فأصاب الذين قالوا هذه المقالة من الأمم الخالية وبال سيئات ما كسبوا من الأعمال، فعوجلوا بالخزي في الحياة الدنيا، والذين ظلموا أنفسهم من قومك -أيها الرسول-، وقالوا هذه المقالة، سيصيبهم أيضًا وبال سيئات ما كسبوا، كما أصاب الذين من قبلهم، وما هم بفائتين الله ولا سابقيه.
