Surah Az-Zumar
And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those [worshipped] other than Him are mentioned, immediately they rejoice.﴿45﴾
Translation
And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those [worshipped] other than Him are mentioned, immediately they rejoice.
Simplified Tafsir
وإذا ذُكِر الله وحده نفرت قلوب الذين لا يؤمنون بالمعاد والبعث بعد الممات، وإذا ذُكِر الذين مِن دونه من الأصنام والأوثان والأولياء إذا هم يفرحون؛ لكون الشرك موافقًا لأهوائهم.
