Surah Yaseen
But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.﴿74﴾

But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.
Simplified Tafsir
واتخذ المشركون من دون الله آلهة يعبدونها؛ طمعًا في نصرها لهم وإنقاذهم من عذاب الله.
