Surah Faatir
Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allah is not to be caused failure by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent.﴿44﴾
Translation
Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allah is not to be caused failure by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent.
Simplified Tafsir
أولم يَسِرْ كفار "مكة" في الأرض، فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم كعاد وثمود وأمثالهم، وما حلَّ بهم من الدمار، وبديارهم من الخراب، حين كذبوا الرسل، وكان أولئك الكفرة أشد قوة وبطشًا من كفار "مكة"؟ وما كان الله تعالى ليعجزه ويفوته من شيء في السماوات ولا في الأرض، إنه كان عليمًا بأفعالهم، قديرًا على إهلاكهم.
