Surah Saba
And he had over them no authority except [it was decreed] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian.﴿21﴾
Translation
And he had over them no authority except [it was decreed] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian.
Simplified Tafsir
وما كان لإبليس على هؤلاء الكفار مِن قهر على الكفر، ولكن حكمة الله اقتضت تسويله لبني آدم؛ ليظهر ما علمه سبحانه في الأزل؛ لنميز مَن يصدِّق بالبعث والثواب والعقاب ممن هو في شك من ذلك. وربك على كل شيء حفيظ، يحفظه ويجازي عليه.
