Surah Al-Ahzaab
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.﴿7﴾
Translation
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.
Simplified Tafsir
واذكر -أيها النبي- حين أخذنا من النبيين العهد المؤكد بتبليغ الرسالة، وأخذنا الميثاق منك ومن نوح وإبراهيم وموسى وعيسى ابن مريم (وهم أولو العزم من الرسل على المشهور)، وأخذنا منهم عهدًا مؤكدًا بتبليغ الرسالة وأداء الأمانة، وأن يُصَدِّق بعضهم بعضًا.
