So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah].﴿57﴾
Translation
So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah].
Simplified Tafsir
فيوم القيامة لا ينفع الظالمين ما يقدمونه من أعذار، ولا يُطلب منهم إرضاء الله تعالى بالتوبة والطاعة، بل يُعاقبون بسيئاتهم ومعاصيهم.
