Surah Ar-Room
And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.﴿46﴾
Translation
And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.
Simplified Tafsir
ومن آيات الله الدالة على أنه الإله الحق وحده لا شريك له وعلى عظيم قدرته إرسال الرياح أمام المطر مبشرات بإثارتها للسحاب، فتستبشر بذلك النفوس؛ وليذيقكم من رحمته بإنزاله المطر الذي تحيا به البلاد والعباد، ولتجري السفن في البحر بأمر الله ومشيئته، ولتبتغوا من فضله بالتجارة وغيرها؛ فعل الله ذلك من أجل أن تشكروا له نعمه وتعبدوه وحده.
