Surah Ar-Room
And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah - those are the multipliers.﴿39﴾
Translation
And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah - those are the multipliers.
Simplified Tafsir
وما أعطيتم قرضًا من المال بقصد الربا، وطلب زيادة ذلك القرض؛ ليزيد وينمو في أموال الناس، فلا يزيد عند الله، بل يمحقه ويبطله. وما أعطيتم من زكاة وصدقة للمستحقين ابتغاء مرضاة الله وطلبًا لثوابه، فهذا هو الذي يقبله الله ويضاعفه لكم أضعافًا كثيرة.
