Ayah 142

Surah Aal-i-Imraan

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast?﴿142﴾

Translation

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast?

Simplified Tafsir

يا أصحاب محمد -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أظننتم أن تدخلوا الجنة، ولم تُبْتَلوا بالقتال والشدائد؟ لا يحصل لكم دخولها حتى تُبْتلوا، ويعلم الله -علما ظاهرا للخلق- المجاهدين منكم في سبيله، والصابرين على مقاومة الأعداء.
