Surah Aal-i-Imraan
Not for you, [O Muhammad, but for Allah], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers.﴿128﴾
Translation
Not for you, [O Muhammad, but for Allah], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers.
Simplified Tafsir
ليس لك -أيها الرسول- من أمر العباد شيء، بل الأمر كله لله تعالى وحده لا شريك له، ولعل بعض هؤلاء الذين قاتلوك تنشرح صدورهم للإسلام فيسلموا، فيتوب الله عليهم. ومن بقي على كفره يعذبه الله في الدنيا والآخرة بسبب ظلمه وبغيه.
