Surah Al-Ankaboot
And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" they would surely say " Allah." Say, "Praise to Allah "; but most of them do not reason.﴿63﴾
Translation
And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" they would surely say " Allah." Say, "Praise to Allah "; but most of them do not reason.
Simplified Tafsir
ولئن سألت -أيها الرسول- المشركين: مَنِ الذي نزَّل من السحاب ماء فأنبت به الأرض من بعد جفافها؟ ليقولُنَّ لك معترفين: الله وحده هو الذي نزَّل ذلك، قل: الحمد لله الذي أظهر حجتك عليهم، بل أكثرهم لا يعقلون ما ينفعهم ولا ما يضرهم، ولو عَقَلوا ما أشركوا مع الله غيره.
