Surah Al-Ankaboot
And when Our messengers came to Abraham with the good tidings, they said, "Indeed, we will destroy the people of that Lot's city. Indeed, its people have been wrongdoers."﴿31﴾
Translation
And when Our messengers came to Abraham with the good tidings, they said, "Indeed, we will destroy the people of that Lot's city. Indeed, its people have been wrongdoers."
Simplified Tafsir
ولما جاءت الملائكة إبراهيم بالخبر السارِّ من الله بإسحاق، ومن وراء إسحاق ولده يعقوب، قالت الملائكة لإبراهيم: إنا مهلكو أهل قرية قوم لوط، وهي "سدوم"؛ إنَّ أهلها كانوا ظالمي أنفسهم بمعصيتهم لله.
