Surah Al-Qasas
And you were not expecting that the Book would be conveyed to you, but [it is] a mercy from your Lord. So do not be an assistant to the disbelievers.﴿86﴾
Translation
And you were not expecting that the Book would be conveyed to you, but [it is] a mercy from your Lord. So do not be an assistant to the disbelievers.
Simplified Tafsir
وما كنت -أيها الرسول- تؤمِّل نزول القرآن عليك، لكن الله سبحانه وتعالى رحمك فأنزله عليك، فاشكر لله تعالى على نِعَمه، ولا تكوننَّ عونًا لأهل الشرك والضلال.
