Surah Al-Qasas
And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; not for them was the choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him.﴿68﴾
Translation
And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; not for them was the choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him.
Simplified Tafsir
وربك يخلق ما يشاء أن يخلقه، ويصطفي لولايته مَن يشاء من خلقه، وليس لأحد من الأمر والاختيار شيء، وإنما ذلك لله وحده سبحانه، تعالى وتنزَّه عن شركهم.
