Surah Al-Qasas
He said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me," and He forgave him. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.﴿16﴾
Translation
He said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me," and He forgave him. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Simplified Tafsir
قال موسى: رب إني ظلمت نفسي بقتل النفس التي لم تأمرني بقتلها فاغفر لي ذلك الذنب، فغفر الله له. إن الله غفور لذنوب عباده، رحيم بهم.
