And there were in the city nine family heads causing corruption in the land and not amending [its affairs].﴿48﴾
Translation
And there were in the city nine family heads causing corruption in the land and not amending [its affairs].
Simplified Tafsir
وكان في مدينة صالح -وهي "الحِجْر" الواقعة في شمال غرب جزيرة العرب- تسعة رجال، شأنهم الإفساد في الأرض، الذي لا يخالطه شيء من الصلاح.
