Surah Al-Furqaan
And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant.﴿35﴾
Translation
And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant.
Simplified Tafsir
ولقد آتينا موسى التوراة، وجعلنا معه أخاه هارون معينًا له، فقلنا لهما: اذهبا إلى فرعون وقومه الذين كذَّبوا بدلائل ربوبيتنا وألوهيتنا، فذهبا إليهم، فدَعَواهم إلى الإيمان بالله وطاعته وعدم الإشراك به، فكذَّبوهما، فأهلكناهم إهلاكًا عظيمًا.
