Surah Al-Muminoon
Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him].﴿91﴾
Translation
Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him].
Simplified Tafsir
لم يجعل الله لنفسه ولدًا، ولم يكن معه من معبود آخر؛ لأنه لو كان ثمة أكثر مِن معبود لانفرد كل معبود بمخلوقاته، ولكان بينهم مغالبة كشأن ملوك الدنيا، فيختلُّ نظام الكون، تنزَّه الله سبحانه وتعالى وتقدَّس عن وصفهم له بأن له شريكًا أو ولدًا.
