Surah Al-Muminoon
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.﴿14﴾
Translation
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.
Simplified Tafsir
ثم خلقنا النطفة علقة أي: دمًا أحمر، فخلقنا العلقة بعد أربعين يومًا مضغة أي: قطعة لحم قَدْر ما يُمْضغ، فخلقنا المضغة اللينة عظامًا، فكسونا العظام لحمًا، ثم أنشأناه خلقًا آخر بنفخ الروح فيه، فتبارك الله، الذي أحسن كل شيء خلقه.
