Surah Al-Muminoon
And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.﴿117﴾
Translation
And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.
Simplified Tafsir
ومن يعبد مع الله الواحد إلهًا آخر، لا حجة له على استحقاقه العبادة، فإنما جزاؤه على عمله السيِّئ عند ربه في الآخرة. إنه لا فلاح ولا نجاة للكافرين يوم القيامة.
