Surah Al-Hajj
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allah will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.﴿47﴾
Translation
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allah will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.
Simplified Tafsir
ويستعجلك- أيها الرسول- كفار قريش -لشدة جهلهم- بالعذاب الذي أنذرتهم به لـمَّا أصروا على الكفر، ولن يخلف الله ما وعدهم به من العذاب فلا بدَّ من وقوعه، وقد عجَّل لهم في الدينا ذلك في يوم "بدر". وإن يومًا من الأيام عند الله - وهو يوم القيامة- كألف سنة مما تَعُدُّون من سني الدنيا.
