Surah Al-Anbiyaa
And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field - when the sheep of a people overran it [at night], and We were witness to their judgement.﴿78﴾
Translation
And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field - when the sheep of a people overran it [at night], and We were witness to their judgement.
Simplified Tafsir
واذكر - أيها الرسول - نبي الله داود وابنه سليمان، إذ يحكمان في قضية عرَضَها خصمان، عَدَت غنم أحدهما على زرع الآخر، وانتشرت فيه ليلا فأتلفت الزرع، فحكم داود بأن تكون الغنم لصاحب الزرع ملْكًا بما أتلفته، فقيمتهما سواء، وكنَّا لحكمهم شاهدين لم يَغِبْ عنا.
