Surah Al-Anbiyaa
And We sent not before you, [O Muhammad], except men to whom We revealed [the message], so ask the people of the message if you do not know.﴿7﴾
Translation
And We sent not before you, [O Muhammad], except men to whom We revealed [the message], so ask the people of the message if you do not know.
Simplified Tafsir
وما أرسلنا قبلك - أيها الرسول - إلا رجالا من البشر نوحي إليهم، ولم نرسل ملائكة، فاسألوا - يا كفار "مكة" - أهل العلم بالكتب المنزلة السابقة، إن كنتم تجهلون ذلك.
