Rather, it will come to them unexpectedly and bewilder them, and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be reprieved.﴿40﴾
Translation
Rather, it will come to them unexpectedly and bewilder them, and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be reprieved.
Simplified Tafsir
ولسوف تأتيهم الساعة فجأة، فيتحيَّرون عند ذلك، ويخافون خوفًا عظيمًا، ولا يستطيعون دَفْعَ العذاب عن أنفسهم، ولا يُمْهلون لاستدراك توبة واعتذار.
