If those who disbelieved but knew the time when they will not avert the Fire from their faces or from their backs and they will not be aided...﴿39﴾
Translation
If those who disbelieved but knew the time when they will not avert the Fire from their faces or from their backs and they will not be aided...
Simplified Tafsir
لو يعلم هؤلاء الكفار ما يلاقونه عندما لا يستطيعون أن يدفعوا عن وجوههم وظهورهم النار، ولا يجدون لهم ناصرًا ينصرهم، لما أقاموا على كفرهم، ولما استعجلوا عذابهم.
