Surah Al-Anbiyaa
And when those who disbelieve see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one who insults your gods?" And they are, at the mention of the Most Merciful, disbelievers.﴿36﴾
Translation
And when those who disbelieve see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one who insults your gods?" And they are, at the mention of the Most Merciful, disbelievers.
Simplified Tafsir
وإذا رآك الكفار - أيها الرسول - أشاروا إليك ساخرين منك بقول بعضهم لبعض: أهذا الرجل الذي يسبُّ آلهتكم؟ وجحدوا بالرحمن ونعمه، وبما أنزله من القرآن والهدى.
