Surah Al-Anbiyaa
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?﴿30﴾
Translation
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?
Simplified Tafsir
أولم يعلم هؤلاء الذين كفروا أن السموات والأرض كانتا ملتصقتين لا فاصل بينهما، فلا مطر من السماء ولا نبات من الأرض، ففصلناهما بقدرتنا، وأنزلنا المطر من السماء، وأخرجنا النبات من الأرض، وجعلنا من الماء كل شيء حي، أفلا يؤمن هؤلاء الجاحدون فيصدقوا بما يشاهدونه، ويخصُّوا الله بالعبادة؟
