Surah Taa-Haa
And Aaron had already told them before [the return of Moses], "O my people, you are only being tested by it, and indeed, your Lord is the Most Merciful, so follow me and obey my order."﴿90﴾
Translation
And Aaron had already told them before [the return of Moses], "O my people, you are only being tested by it, and indeed, your Lord is the Most Merciful, so follow me and obey my order."
Simplified Tafsir
ولقد قال هارون لبني إسرائيل من قبل رجوع موسى إليهم: يا قوم إنما اختُبرتم بهذا العجل؛ ليظهر المؤمن منكم من الكافر، وإن ربكم الرحمن لا غيره فاتبعوني فيما أدعوكم إليه من عبادة الله، وأطيعوا أمري في اتباع شرعه.
