Ayah 64

Surah Al-Baqara

Then you turned away after that. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have been among the losers.﴿64﴾

Translation

Then you turned away after that. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have been among the losers.

Simplified Tafsir

ثم خالفتم وعصيتم مرة أخرى، بعد أَخْذِ الميثاق ورَفْع الجبل كشأنكم دائمًا. فلولا فَضْلُ الله عليكم ورحمته بالتوبة، والتجاوز عن خطاياكم، لصرتم من الخاسرين في الدنيا والآخرة.
