Surah Al-Baqara
O you who have believed, spend from that which We have provided for you before there comes a Day in which there is no exchange and no friendship and no intercession. And the disbelievers - they are the wrongdoers.﴿254﴾
Translation
O you who have believed, spend from that which We have provided for you before there comes a Day in which there is no exchange and no friendship and no intercession. And the disbelievers - they are the wrongdoers.
Simplified Tafsir
يا من آمنتم بالله وصدَّقتم رسوله وعملتم بهديه أخرجوا الزكاة المفروضة، وتصدَّقوا مما أعطاكم الله قبل مجيء يوم القيامة حين لا بيع فيكون ربح، ولا مال تفتدون به أنفسكم مِن عذاب الله، ولا صداقة صديق تُنقذكم، ولا شافع يملك تخفيف العذاب عنكم. والكافرون هم الظالمون المتجاوزون حدود الله.
