Ayah 127

Surah Al-Baqara

And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.﴿127﴾

Translation

And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.

Simplified Tafsir

واذكر -أيها النبي- حين رفع إبراهيم وإسماعيل أسس الكعبة، وهما يدعوان الله في خشوع: ربنا تقبل منَّا صالح أعمالنا ودعاءنا، إنك أنت السميع لأقوال عبادك، العليم بأحوالهم.
