Ayah 108

Surah Al-Baqara

Or do you intend to ask your Messenger as Moses was asked before? And whoever exchanges faith for disbelief has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.﴿108﴾

Translation

Or do you intend to ask your Messenger as Moses was asked before? And whoever exchanges faith for disbelief has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.

Simplified Tafsir

بل أتريدون- أيها الناس- أن تطلبوا من رسولكم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم أشياء بقصد العناد والمكابرة، كما طُلِبَ مثل ذلك من موسى. علموا أن من يختر الكفر ويترك الإيمان فقد خرج عن صراط الله المستقيم إلى الجهل والضَّلال.
