Surah Al-Kahf
And your Lord is the Forgiving, full of mercy. If He were to impose blame upon them for what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment. Rather, for them is an appointment from which they will never find an escape.﴿58﴾
Translation
And your Lord is the Forgiving, full of mercy. If He were to impose blame upon them for what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment. Rather, for them is an appointment from which they will never find an escape.
Simplified Tafsir
وربك الغفور لذنوب عباده إذا تابوا، ذو الرحمة بهم، لو يعاقب هؤلاء المعرضين عن آياته بما كسبوا من الذنوب والآثام لعجَّل لهم العذاب، ولكنه تعالى حليم لا يعجل بالعقوبة، بل لهم موعد يجازون فيه بأعمالهم، لا مندوحة لهم عنه ولا محيد.
