Ayah 12

Surah Al-Kahf

Then We awakened them that We might show which of the two factions was most precise in calculating what [extent] they had remained in time.﴿12﴾

Translation

Then We awakened them that We might show which of the two factions was most precise in calculating what [extent] they had remained in time.

Simplified Tafsir

ثم أيقظناهم مِن نومهم؛ لنُظهر للناس ما علمناه في الأزل؛ فتتميَّز أي الطائفتين المتنازعتين في مدة لبثهم أضبط في الإحصاء، وهل لبثوا يومًا أو بعض يوم، أو مدة طويلة؟
