Surah Al-Israa
Whoever should desire the immediate - We hasten for him from it what We will to whom We intend. Then We have made for him Hell, which he will [enter to] burn, censured and banished.﴿18﴾
Translation
Whoever should desire the immediate - We hasten for him from it what We will to whom We intend. Then We have made for him Hell, which he will [enter to] burn, censured and banished.
Simplified Tafsir
من كان طلبه الدنيا العاجلة، وسعى لها وحدها، ولم يصدِّق بالآخرة، ولم يعمل لها، عجَّل الله له فيها ما يشاؤه اللّه ويريده مما كتبه له في اللوح المحفوظ، ثم يجعل الله له في الآخرة جهنم، يدخلها ملومًا مطرودًا من رحمته عز وجل؛ وذلك بسبب إرادته الدنيا وسعيه لها دون الآخرة.
