Surah An-Nahl
Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.﴿26﴾
Translation
Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.
Simplified Tafsir
قد دبَّر الكفار من قَبْل هؤلاء المشركين المكايد لرسلهم، وما جاءوا به من دعوة الحق، فأتى الله بنيانهم من أساسه وقاعدته، فسقط عليهم السقف مِن فوقهم، وأتاهم الهلاك مِن مأمنهم، من حيث لا يحتسبون ولا يتوقعون أنه يأتيهم منه.
