Surah An-Nahl
Then, indeed your Lord, to those who have done wrong out of ignorance and then repent after that and correct themselves - indeed, your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.﴿119﴾
Translation
Then, indeed your Lord, to those who have done wrong out of ignorance and then repent after that and correct themselves - indeed, your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.
Simplified Tafsir
ثم إن ربك للذين فعلوا المعاصي في حال جهلهم لعاقبتها وإيجابها لسخط الله -فكل عاص لله مخطئًا أو متعمدًا فهو جاهل بهذا الاعتبار وإن كان عالمًا بالتحريم-، ثم رجعوا إلى الله عمَّا كانوا عليه من الذنوب، وأصلحوا نفوسهم وأعمالهم، إن ربك -مِن بعد توبتهم وإصلاحهم- لَغفور لهم، رحيم بهم.
