Surah Ar-Ra'd
And already were [other] messengers ridiculed before you, and I extended the time of those who disbelieved; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty.﴿32﴾
Translation
And already were [other] messengers ridiculed before you, and I extended the time of those who disbelieved; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty.
Simplified Tafsir
وإذا كانوا قد سخروا من دعوتك -أيها الرسول- فلقد سَخِرَتْ أمم من قبلك برسلهم، فلا تحزن فقد أمهلتُ الذين كفروا، ثم أخذتُهم بعقابي، وكان عقابًا شديدًا.
