Surah Yusuf
Kill Joseph or cast him out to [another] land; the countenance of your father will [then] be only for you, and you will be after that a righteous people."﴿9﴾
Translation
Kill Joseph or cast him out to [another] land; the countenance of your father will [then] be only for you, and you will be after that a righteous people."
Simplified Tafsir
اقتلوا يوسف أو ألقوا به في أرض مجهولة بعيدة عن العُمران يخلُص لكم حب أبيكم وإقباله عليكم، ولا يلتفت عنكم إلى غيركم، وتكونوا مِنْ بعد قَتْل يوسف أو إبعاده تائبين إلى الله، مستغفرين له من بعد ذنبكم.
