Surah Yusuf
And he turned away from them and said, "Oh, my sorrow over Joseph," and his eyes became white from grief, for he was [of that] a suppressor.﴿84﴾
Translation
And he turned away from them and said, "Oh, my sorrow over Joseph," and his eyes became white from grief, for he was [of that] a suppressor.
Simplified Tafsir
وأعرض يعقوب عنهم، وقد ضاق صدره بما قالوه، وقال: يا حسرتا على يوسف وابيضَّتْ عيناه، بذهاب سوادهما مِن شدة الحزن فهو ممتلئ القلب حزنًا، ولكنه شديد الكتمان له.
