Surah Yusuf
They said, "If he steals - a brother of his has stolen before." But Joseph kept it within himself and did not reveal it to them. He said, "You are worse in position, and Allah is most knowing of what you describe."﴿77﴾
Translation
They said, "If he steals - a brother of his has stolen before." But Joseph kept it within himself and did not reveal it to them. He said, "You are worse in position, and Allah is most knowing of what you describe."
Simplified Tafsir
قال إخوة يوسف: إنْ سرق هذا فقد سرق أخ شقيق له من قبل (يقصدون يوسف عليه السلام) فأخفى يوسف في نفسه ما سمعه، وحدَّث نفسه قائلا أنتم أسوأ منزلة ممن ذكرتم، حيث دبَّرتم لي ما كان منكم، والله أعلم بما تصفون من الكذب والافتراء.
