Surah Hud
Then would you possibly leave [out] some of what is revealed to you, or is your breast constrained by it because they say, "Why has there not been sent down to him a treasure or come with him an angel?" But you are only a warner. And Allah is Disposer of all things.﴿12﴾
Translation
Then would you possibly leave [out] some of what is revealed to you, or is your breast constrained by it because they say, "Why has there not been sent down to him a treasure or come with him an angel?" But you are only a warner. And Allah is Disposer of all things.
Simplified Tafsir
فلعلك -أيها الرسول لعظم ما تراه منهم من الكفر والتكذيب- تارك بعض ما يوحى إليك مما أنزله الله عليك وأمرك بتبليغه، وضائق به صدرك؛ خشية أن يطلبوا منك بعض المطالب على وجه التعنت، كأن يقولوا: لولا أُنزل عليه مال كثير، أو جاء معه ملك يصدقه في رسالته، فبلغهم ما أوحيته إليك؛ فإنه ليس عليك إلا الإنذار بما أُوحي إليك. والله على كل شيء حفيظ يدَبِّر جميع شؤون خلقه.
