Ayah 87

Surah Yunus

And We inspired to Moses and his brother, "Settle your people in Egypt in houses and make your houses [facing the] qiblah and establish prayer and give good tidings to the believers."﴿87﴾

Translation

And We inspired to Moses and his brother, "Settle your people in Egypt in houses and make your houses [facing the] qiblah and establish prayer and give good tidings to the believers."

Simplified Tafsir

وأوحينا إلى موسى وأخيه هارون أن اتخذا لقومكما بيوتًا في "مصر" تكون مساكن وملاجئ تعتصمون بها، واجعلوا بيوتكم أماكن تصلُّون فيها عند الخوف، وأدُّوا الصلاة المفروضة في أوقاتها. وبشِّر المؤمنين المطيعين لله بالنصر المؤزر، والثواب الجزيل منه سبحانه وتعالى.
