Ayah 73

Surah Yunus

And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Then see how was the end of those who were warned.﴿73﴾

Translation

And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Then see how was the end of those who were warned.

Simplified Tafsir

فكذب نوحًا قومُه فيما أخبرهم به عن الله، فنجَّيناه هو ومن معه في السفينة، وجعلناهم يَخْلُفون المكذبين في الأرض، وأغرقنا الذين جحدوا حججنا، فتأمل -أيها الرسول- كيف كان عاقبة القوم الذين أنذرهم رسولهم عذاب الله وبأسه؟
