Duas for Deceased

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ، وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ، وَزَوْجًا خَيْرًا مِنْ زَوْجِهِ، وَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ

O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him and give him strength and pardon him. Be generous to him and cause his entrance to be wide and wash him with water and snow and hail. Cleanse him of his transgressions as white cloth is cleansed of stains...

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا، وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا، وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا، وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا، اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا أَجْرَهُ، وَلَا تُضِلَّنَا بَعْدَهُ

O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whomsoever among us You keep alive, keep him alive on Islam...

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ فُلَانَ بْنَ فُلَانٍ فِي ذِمَّتِكَ، وَحَبْلِ جِوَارِكَ، فَقِهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ، وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ، وَأَنْتَ أَهْلُ الْوَفَاءِ وَالْحَقِّ، فَاغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

O Allah, so-and-so son of so-and-so is in Your protection and in the rope of Your vicinity, so protect him from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the Fire...

اللَّهُمَّ عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ احْتَاجَ إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ، وَأَنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِهِ، إِنْ كَانَ مُحْسِنًا فَزِدْ فِي حَسَنَاتِهِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مُسِيئًا فَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْهُ

O Allah, Your servant and the son of Your maidservant is in need of Your mercy and You are without need of his punishment. If he was a doer of good, then increase his good deeds...

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ فِي الْمَهْدِيِّينَ، وَاخْلُفْهُ فِي عَقِبِهِ فِي الْغَابِرِينَ، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَهُ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ، وَافْسَحْ لَهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ، وَنُوِّرْ لَهُ فِيهِ

O Allah, forgive him and raise his rank among the guided, and be a successor to him among his descendants who remain. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds...

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ

Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

My Lord, forgive me and my parents and have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ قَبْرَهُ رَوْضَةً مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهُ حُفْرَةً مِنْ حُفَرِ النَّارِ

O Allah, make his grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and do not make it a pit from the pits of Hellfire.

اللَّهُمَّ انْقُلْهُ مِنْ ضِيقِ اللُّحُودِ وَمَرَاتِعِ الدُّودِ إِلَى جَنَّاتِ الْخُلُودِ

O Allah, transfer him from the narrowness of the grave and the places of worms to the gardens of eternity.

اللَّهُمَّ يمِّنْ كِتَابَهُ، وَيسِّرْ حِسَابَهُ، وَثبِّتْ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ أَقْدَامَهُ

O Allah, make his record in his right hand, ease his reckoning, and make his feet firm on the path.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِأَبِي وَارْحَمْهُ وَاجْعَلْ مَسْكَنَهُ الْفِرْدَوْسَ الْأَعْلَى

O Allah, forgive my father, have mercy on him, and make his dwelling the highest Paradise (Firdaws).

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِأُمِّي وَارْحَمْهَا وَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْهَا وَأَسْكِنْهَا جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

O Allah, forgive my mother, have mercy on her, overlook her faults, and settle her in the gardens of bliss.
